The Baumer  FGUM120P8001/S35L Fork Sensor is a precision through-beam sensor designed for detecting objects as small as 0.8 mm. With a repeat accuracy of 0.06 mm and hysteresis <0.25 mm, it ensures reliable and accurate object detection. It operates with a pulsed red LED (660 nm) light source and has a yellow LED indicator for easy monitoring.

The Baumer FGUM120P8001/S35L Fork Sensor offers a fast response/release time of <0.25 ms, supporting high-speed applications with a switching frequency of 2 kHz. It allows sensitivity adjustment via a 270° potentiometer and supports light/dark operate modes, switchable through its PNP output circuit. Operating on a 10–35 VDC supply voltage, it has a maximum current consumption of 40 mA and an output current of 200 mA, with built-in short circuit and reverse polarity protection.

The U-profile design features a 120 mm fork width, 60 mm penetration depth, and robust die-cast zinc housing, making it durable and suitable for demanding environments. Its IP67 rating ensures resistance to dust and water, and it functions effectively in temperatures from -10°C to +60°C. The M8 3-pin connector provides secure connectivity.
